Prachar is the National Co-ordinator of the 2008 World Harmony Run in Australia. He has participated in every Peace Run and World Harmony Run in Australia since the first Peace Run in 1987, and has also joined the team in over 20 countries around the world.

He has run over 35 marathons and some longer races. An accomplished musician, Prachar is also event director for the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team in Canberra, organising numerous running races, triathlons and multi-sport events.
