Veeraja Uppal

Veeraja resides in Melbourne, Australia, and has had the good fortune to participate in 7 previous World Harmony Runs here, since 1993, as well as a number of short international Runs in Japan, Cambodia, Indonesia and Malaysia.

He has completed 15 marathons and 4 ultra-marathons. In recent years he has been more involved in cycling, but still enjoys long runs. Veeraja says, "the World Harmony Run gives tremendous joy and inspiration to all who take part and hold the torch. It is an experience not to be missed."

When he is not our on the road with World Harmony Runs, he is co-ordinating a calendar of Sri Chinmoy Races in Melbourne and serves as Race Director for them every month. As well, he assists in the management of the Melbourne Marathon and other major athletic events.
