Having entered Manitoba yesterday and relaying the torch through Minnedosa, today, the team proceeded to Brandon.

Arrivé au Manitoba hier, nous avons relayé le flambeau dans Minnedosa. Aujourd'hui, l'équipe se dirige vers Brandon.

Brandon University is an historic campus, immaculately kept and it was a treat to walk through its mahogany halls. Vice President Jeff Williams and Executive Dean of International Affairs Janet Wright greeted the team and added their wish for world harmony to the torch. Dr. Doug Pickering, a math professor and marathoner, accompanied us on the run to the edge of town.

L'Université de Brandon est localisé sur un campus historique, conservé iintégralement. C'était un réel privilège de déambuler dans les couloirs aux murs d'acajou. Le Vice-Recteur Jeff Williams et la Doyenne des Affaires Internationales, Janet Wright ont accueilli l'équipe de la CHM et ont exprimé leurs voeux pour un monde d'harmonie en tenant le flambeau. Dr. Doug Pickering, professeur de mathématique et marathonien, nous a accompagnés dans la course jusqu'à la limite de la ville.

As the team relayed the torch along a winding stretch of the Assiniboini River in Portage La Prairie, the birds sang and sun blazed making their experience all the more enjoyable. Many thanks to the local media organizations who helped spread the message of universal friendship along the Canadian run.

Pendant que l'équipe relayait le flambeau dans un secteur venteux des abords de la rivière Assiniboini dans le Portage La Prairie, les oiseaux chantaient et le soleil rayonnait, rendant l'expérience des plus agréable. Nous offrons nos remerciements aux média locaux qui ont contribués à répandre le message de l'amitié universelle dans cette partie de la Course Canadienne.
