Canada 5 May: Regina

This morning in Regina the team headed over to the local YMCA and met with the lively Track and Trail Running Club.

Renae, the running coach, led us on a route around the lake. We stopped to enjoy the Parliament Buildings, bridges, totem pole, fountain and other beautiful landmarks on the way. Many passers-by held the torch as we made our way along the path. Media also came out to acknowledge the World Harmony Runners’ visit to Regina and this event. Today’s beautiful weather made for a very enjoyable run while exploring Saskatchewan’s capital.

The team thanks the Track and Trail Running Club for coming out with us, especially Renae, Maurena and Laurie. Thank you to Mrs. Baldish of the Coachman Inn who provided complimentary accommodations for the team.

Special Thanks to the Coachman Inn of Regina who were so generous in providing the team with complimentary accommodations for two evenings.
