Team A

(Today was like poetry in motion for Team A - so the report is a poem - Editor)

Wake up in the morning

Hear the wind and raindrops play.

And the road is calling

Ah, what a beautiful day.

The flowers and the trees are smiling

It gives us joy on the way.

Oh, there she comes

Her feet with the puddles play.

Ah, what a beautiful,

Beautiful day.

Smiling and glowing.

Running in the rain.

Flowers are talking and the wind blowing

Ah, what a beautiful day.

"I heard about it on the news. We knew you were coming through."

"When did you hear about us? I've known about it for 5 years. I am just a farmer, but I came out...."

Our run is done and the rain is gone.

Lets jump in the lake you say.

The water is freezing.

Ah, what a beautiful day.

- Tanuja Konecna

Team B

Today can only be descibed with one word - WET - from start to finish. However, it was actually quite refreshing and pleasant.

Medur does it tough in the wet weather.

Medur shares the torch with Perth Andover Councillor Tom Dixon.

A local resident shares her encouragement for our efforts.

Grand Falls/Grand Sault Councillor Daniel Ouellette and family welcomed us to town.

Medur and Eric in front of the Grand Falls - quite something aren't they? The falls- that is.

Rathin takes in the views from our hotel, the Auberge sur Mer, in the evening.

Manapriti, our new regional coordinator, presents Yvon Plourde, our host for the evening, with a certificate of appreciation.

We were so delighted and grateful to spend the night at this beautiful period hotel, the Auberge sur Mer, on the banks of the St. Lawrence. The views were wonderful, and the ambience was soothing - Thank you!
