Costa Rica 3 July: San Jose - Aserri

The Harmony Run began at the Peace Park in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica. The Vice Minister of Youth, Mr. Hernan Solano Venagas, and his wife, held the torch. From there the runners continued to the county of Aserri. En route they were cheered by natives and tourist s alike. When the runners arrived in Aserri they were received by a huge crowd of families with their children, who were gathered for a festival. A band played along while the runners sang the World Harmony Run theme song.

Below two children lead the way in the Peace Park with Mr. Hernan Solano Vargas on the right.
