Denmark 2 May: Flensburg - Vrads

After a good night's rest in the Hotel Frøslev Kro, which hosted some of our team runners, we started our day with driving back to Rødenkro, where we finished the night before.

Our first meeting took place in a unique kindergarten: the kids spend all their time outdoor, even in rain and snow.

We have been told that even babies in the Scandinavian countries have to sleep all night outside. Maybe that goes back to the old Wiking traditions...

Next meeting was the "Deutsche Schule Rotenkrug" in Rødenkro. It took us only minutes to get in playing mode with the children...

...part of our presentation is kid-entertainment...

...thats the line...

...we left Rødenkro for a really long run...

Skibelund Krat, a truly Danish historical place...

...nature accounter...

...and we reached the school in Jels...

...the school proved to be very spontaneous as they didn't know about our coming until an hour before...

...the WHR conquered the sand pit...

...a dynamic run ended the meeting...

..our girls tried also to lift the stone - didn't go too well...

..we met runners in Jelling...

The hill and the stone are part of an old holy place...

...finally we reached Vrads. We were welcomed by the Sahaj Marg Ashram in Vrads...

Thanks for the great food and the support!

...The sun was setting and some of our team members were still running...

...finally! A long running day came to an end...
