Suomi-Finland 18 May: Pyhtää - Vironlahti

...a fresh morning...

Suur-Ahvenkosken koulu was first: the kids welcomed us in the gym hall...

Thanks for the meeting!

...a meeting on the road...

Our last school in Finland: Huutjärven koulu...

...as it was Sandro's birthday, the kids sang for him...

...and they got chocolate...

See you again!

In Kotka we met two runners; one of them came all the way from Lempaala near Tampere just to carry the torch for some distance!

...we explored the South-East of Finland, getting closer to Russia with every step...

...everybody goes eastwards...

Ilya set a tough pace for the last km's to the Finnish-Russian border...

We really enjoyed Finland with all its hospitality, stunning nature and millions of lakes!

Thanks for everything and see you again soon!
