Sainte Jean le Vieux is where our next reception took place. The mayor welcomed us and soon we took off for our first real mountain experience.

Saint Jean le Vieux était notre prochaine. Mr le Maire nous accueilla et juste après nous avons entamé la première expérience en montagne.

...a nice 1000m uphill workout all the way up to Col Bohokortia. No problem for our team. This was just a warmup for the mountains to come in the next few days...

In Arette we visited the local primary school....

The WHR was welcomed at the city hall. City representatives from various departments welcomed us warmly.

La WHR a été reçue à l'hôtel de ville. Des représentants de différents secteurs nous ont accueillis chaleureusement.

...but the best part of the meeting was a song performed for us by the city representatives! Thank you for this great function!
