England 16 March: Swindon - Oxford

We started our day at the King William Street Primary School. A BBC Radio interviewer turned up at the beginning and then more fun began...

...a small entrance into a big world...

...nice pictures....

...big smiles...

...Balavan, our British coordinator, bravely navigates the infamous Swindon roundabouts...

Our next school was South Marston Primary School.

...the children performed a great Rap for us - much better than our singing!

...a traditional phonebox in the countryside...

...we passed the famous White Horse of Uffington. Well, whatever is visible from the road....

...this is how it looks from the air...

...What is this? It's the trunk of one of our British runners' car No name given...

...no speeding in the villages, please....

...new friends, who kindly donated their rainbow flag to the WHR!

We reached the primary school in Shellingford

...Peace is...

...the headmaster passes the torch...

..is this the international team?....

...the children all passed the torch and ran with us...

...our certificate of appreciation...

...a great dancing performance ended the hearty meeting...

...in the afternoon we reached Oxford...

Tejvan, our local coordinator, welcomed us on his bike!

We enjoyed the Run through the historic University City!

..and a final photo shoot with tourists....
