Scotland 3 March: Oban - Crianlarich

After an awesome start of the Scottish WHR on the Isle of Mull we started today's Run in Oban.

Our first meeting brought us to the Rockfield Primary School and to the St. Columbas Primary School.

The children of the two primary schools, who share the same space, received us in the gymhall. A quick presentation, and off we went to the schoolyard for some action!

After all the pupils passed the torch we indulged in a dynamic run across the schoolyard. Thanks for this great meeting!

On our way North we visited the Barcaldine Primary School. It was a spontaneous and hearty meeting!

The children from the Lochnell Primary School painted nice drawings for us! They really prepared well and asked very good questions!

Another highlight along today's route: Castle Stalker, famous from the movie "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"!

The Glencoe Primary School greeted us with a nice song!

After passing the torch we had a great run around the school.

...even the local priest joined in!

After Glencoe we went up into the snowy Highlands!

Tarit on the famous West Highland Way - trail. Unfortunately there was too much snow, so we had to go back on the main road!

...some tame deer...

...a spontaneous meeting...

The Crianlarich Hotel invited our team for food and accommodation. After the long day in the cold we really enjoyed the warm welcome and the delicious dinner!

Thanks to everybody for this gret day!
