A great morning in Amfilochia: after a nice swim, we went up a very big hill to Amfilochia Primary School.

Ένα υπέροχο πρωί στην Αμφιλοχία: μετά από ένα ωραίο πρωινό μπάνιο ανεβήκαμε το λόφο για το Δημοτικό Σχολείο της Αμφιλοχίας

Children from 3 different schools were gathered as we ran in....

Παιδιά από τρία διαφορετικά σχολεία συγκεντρώθηκαν καθώς τρέξαμε μέσα…

...the kids had prepared nice drawings and gave them to our international runners; we collected them gratefully and will definitely store them for our next exhibition...

….τα παιδιά ετοίμασαν όμορφες ζωγραφιές και τις μοίρασαν στους διεθνείς δρομείς μας. Τις συγκεντρώσαμε με ευγνωμοσύνη και θα τις φυλάξουμε αναμφισβήτητα για την επόμενη έκθεσή μας…

...a few hours later we reached Arta. We crossed the famous bridge and met children from two schools...

…Λίγες ώρες αργότερα φτάσαμε στην Άρτα. Διασχίσαμε τη διάσημη γέφυρα και συναντήσαμε παιδιά από δύο σχολεία...

the kids gave us "high fives"...

τα παιδιά μας έκαναν μια “High Five” χειρονομία…

...the Mayor welcomed us and everybody passed the torch...

…ο Δήμαρχος μάς καλωσόρισε και όλοι κράτησαν τη δάδα…

...after the presentation we all ran over the bridge again! Approx. 250 years old and it is still in good condition...

...we received a nice plate from the City of Arta...

After the meeting we still had to cover more than 75 km in the afternoon heat. Water consumption reached new records...

Μετά τη συνάντηση έπρεπε να καλύψουμε ακόμη πάνω από 75 χλμ. στην απογευματινή ζέστη. Η κατανάλωση νερού άγγιξε νέο ρεκόρ…
