We started the day by visiting a school in Milano-Baggio. A few hundred kids welcomed us most enthusiastically.

We spent some time in this great school, probably too much, because we underestimated the distance from Milano to Genova, which turned out to be 160 km. At the school we gave, as usual, a small presentation, sang the World Harmony Run-song and passed the torch to all the kids!

Finally we ran with the kids around the schoolyard. Cheerfully they waved us off. For the rest of the day we had to run quite intensely to catch up with the schedule.

Alla fine abbiamo corso con i bambini intorno alla scuola. Allegramente ci hanno poi lasciati. Per il resto del giorno abbiamo corso molto intensamente per rispettare i tempi in programma.

Despite the rush, we were able to enjoy the beautiful countryside of Liguria. All the trees are blossoming and spring is on its way. Only...the weather was not at its best today. Enduring some rain for the final segment of the run we reached Genova, where the local police really did a fantastic job of navigating us through the rush hour traffic! At the Genova harbor, we met a football club who ran with us all the way to the city hall.

Durante la corsa siamo riusciti a goderci il bel panorama della liguria. Tutti i fiori stavano sbocciando introducendo la primavera. Solo...il

tempo non era al meglio. Sotto la pioggia abbiamo raggiunto Genova, dove la polizia locale a fatto un ottimo lavoro dirigendici attraverso il traffico della città al porto di Genova abbiamo incontrato un gruppo podistico che ha corso con noi fino al municipio.

Here we had a nice reception with a city representative in a beautiful old room followed by some refreshments.

Qui siamo stati accolti dal Sindato in una bellissima stanza vecchio stile con un rinfresco.

At eight o'clock we boarded a huge ferry that took us overnight to Sardinia. It was quite a bumpy ride.

Alle otto ci siamo imbarcati su di un enorme traghetto che ci ha portato durante la notte in sardegna.
