On our last day in Sardinia we paid a visit to a high school in Nuoro! We had a good discussion with hundreds of students about harmony, friendship and other topics of the Run. They enthusiastically ran with us for 200 metres and then we took off for more hill work!

Another sunny day at up to 25 degrees Celsius made it another perfect day for running! We were extremely fortunate with the choice of our route: only nature, small towns - and almost no cars for 120 km - children and adults in the villages and sheep and cork trees in the country side!

In Budduso a whole school was waiting for us. They organised a relay and passed the torch from kid to kid all the way to the school.

In Ala dei Sardi a primary school ran with us and kindergarten kids prepared special banners and caps.

We ran through the village and came to our last leg in Sardinia.

A nice downhill route and burning sun took us all the way to Olbia, where local runners met us and received the torch. After a traditional pizza dinner we boarded the night ferry to Livorno and waved Sardinia goodbye...
