As we arrived in Rome we were blessed with a beautiful rainbow and the smiling faces of our friends, the local Italian coordiators. In addition, two new female runners were also joining us, Madhurima, our youngest and bravest team member from Denmark and Rose our enthusiastic athlete from Holland.

With our ever growing team we hit the road again for a long trip to Reggio Calabria where we needed to catch the ferry to Sicily.

The landscape in southern Italy is simply breath-taking.

The fresh air gave us renewed strength after the long days of driving and we welcomed the chance to stretch our legs on the windy deck of the boat.
