Japan 3 June: Osaka - Kyoto
You probably know that in Japan there are most beautiful gardens. But you would perhaps not guess that in our team there is one of those guys under whose hands this beauty comes to life, Gunarashi-san.
In front of Osaka City Hall you will also find some beautifully shaped trees. Near them at the bank of river Yodogawa, the start of today's course took place in a downpour. There not only the crew members were present but also some fresh runners from the local running club ZKM came to support the idea of running for harmony. They ran swiftly, more swiftly than one would expect taking their age into account. Several kilometers after passing along the big Osaka castle we said good-bye to them.

At our arrival in Kyoto, an experienced runner, Mr. Fukuda, joined in at the gate of the magnificent temple Toji. A bit further two more runners: mother and daughter were waiting to join our big troop and ran up to Kyoto City Hall.

There we were welcomed not only by newspaper reporters and passer-by’s with cameras but also by the director and members of the International Relations Office and ended today's run by a ceremony in their kind presence. Kyoto and Prague are sister cities so we, especially Jarmila and Karel from Czech, felt at home at the City Hall.

Then we moved to Ichinomiya city where we were accommodated in nice Japanese-style rooms and enjoyed ofuro (Japanese spa-like bath).
