Montenegro 4 August: Ulcinj - Podgorica

we left Ulcinj and went straight over the mountains. A lat view of Albania in the distance...

...a small meeting in Ostros...

What a view! We ran along famous Lake Skadar, probably the largest lake in Europe...

...a dog-day afternoon. We reached Virpazar in the worst heat...

...still it was possible to find a city representative for a small meeting...

..we prepared ourselves for a boat-trip. The food supplies were loaded...

That's not our boat...

...nor this one...

That's it! The tourist office of Virpazar generously provided the boat...

...professional storage for the torch...

...and a perfect lunch!

...our skipper...

...a short nap after the food...

...some team members woke up too quickly...

Thanks for the nice ride!

...a greeting committee back on land...

We reached Podgorica!

..Podgorica in Summer is really empty. So we were quite happy to be received by Mr. Ljumovic, the representative of the President of the Republic of Montenegro, who is the director of the National Theatre and by Mr. Cupic, the City's Sport-Representative of Podgorica...

...a short, symbolic Run ended the hearty meeting...

Thank you Podgorica!

...the day didn't end yet. In the evening we were invited by the city to attend a sport festival.

...another presentation...

...and a tug of war!

Good night Podgorica!
