Polska 7 June: Torun - Jarocin

 

 

Torun, nasz dzisiejszy punkt startowy. Trasa liczy 177 km i biegnie przez piekne zielone tereny Polski srodkowej. Na stacji kolejowej w Toruniu zobaczylismy stara lokomotywe parowa.

Torun, our starting point today. The 177km long route led us through the beautiful green regions of the middle of Poland. At the railway station in Torun we saw the old steam locomotive.

To nic takiego, po prostu jedno z naszych codziennych spotkan....

It is nothing special, just one of our everyday meetings...

Po 100 km wbiegamy do Gniezna, pierwszej polskiej stolicy, gdzie ukoronowano pierwszego polskiego krola, Boleslawa Chrobrego, w 1025 roku.

After 100 km we entered the city of Gniezno, the first capitol of Poland, where the first Polish king Boleslaw the Brave, was crowned in the year 1025.

Biegna z nami sportowcy z lokalnego Osrodka Sportowego, GOSIR, wraz z dyrektorem Osrodka, panem Jackiem Mankowskim, oraz senatorem polskiego parlamentu, panem Piotrem Gruszczynskim.

Athletes from the local Sport Centre, GOSIR, together with the Manager of the Centre, Mr. Jacek Mankowski, and the Senator of Polish Parliament, Mr. Piotr Gruszczynski ran with us...
