Sweden 11 June: Södertälje - Stockholm

When we arrived in Sweden, the weather had just changed from very hot, to cool and perfect running temperature. In the morning it was pouring rain like anything right before we started running, but as soon as we stepped out on the road it cleared up and we didn't get wet for the whole day. What a blessing! As soon as we got in the car to drive back to our accommodation for the evening, it started raining again.

We visited an international school in Södertälje and ended our day running into the beautiful city of Stockholm, with many people cheering us along the way.

About to arrive in Sweden from Iceland...

Visiting the international school in Södertälje.

Running to the school.

A brief introduction by the school headmaster.

The teachers introduced themselves in their native languages.

We observed a great deal of humour at this school.

Teachers and students were equally excited.

Franz is a really good runner. He used to teach sports in school.

Nature's beauty.

Looking for elks everywhere, with no luck.

Running into Stockholm.

Komal, one of our local coordinators.
