As it turned out, there are several ways from Kyiv to Kaniv, our next stopover.

Є три дороги з Києва до Каніва, нашої наступної зупинки.

Three times we lost either runner with the torch or met people with bread and salt.

Три рази ми втрачали наших бігунів з факелом.

And three times the team ran in the rain. It had been quite hot weather until today.

Спека трьох попередніх днів змінилася дощем. Дорогою він пускався тричі, та, попри це, охочих бігти було багато. 

In spite of the rain, there were many eager runners to carry our Harmony torch.

When we entered Kaniv, we had an official ceremony with the city authorities under a downpour. After which all wet but happy, we enjoyed an evening meal all together.

Канів зустрів Всесвітній біг заради гармонії справжньою зливою! Але це жодним чином не зашкодило урочистій церемонії зустрічі естафети за участю керівників району і міста, після якої усі, мокрі й щасливі, разом повечеряли.
