USA 26 April: Stamford, CT

In an interesting coincidence we began our World Harmony Run where we finished last year - Nidrahara and Nripal’s beautiful home in Stamford CT. After a short visit we headed over to the Boys and Girls of Stamford.

Brian Morris the Health and Fitness Director had gotten the children very excited about our visit.

We dusted off the cobwebs from the torch and the rust from our public speaking skills and launched into the universal magic of the World Harmony Run.

Before we knew it smiling faces and bright eyes where excitedly presenting themselves hoping to grasp the torch, make a wish for harmony or share an encouraging word.

Stamford Mayor Dannel Malloy made a guest appearance holding the torch and sharing some encouraging words with the children.

After a short presentation in the auditorium we adjourned outside for a spirited lap of the adjacent field. Everybody got a chance to hold the torch and make a wish for World Harmony.

We had a great dinner of pizza and salad at Nidrahara and Nripal’s place before driving about 1 hour north to spend the night at Arpan’s mother’s place in Hamden CT.
