Today we ran 113 miles, this was one of our longer days - fortunately the weather was fantastic. Vilupti was clicking her heels in the very enjoyable running conditions.
Uddyogini, from Australia, was also enjoying the coastal climate in Florida, the sunshine state.
Chattahoochie Elementary has been welcoming us for three years now and they always do a remarkable job. This year was no exception.
The students had a wonderful time passing the torch.
We all had a moment's silence to feel the harmony that resides deep in the heart of each one of us.
Jitavrata introduced the team and related some of the great experiences we have had so far.
Teachers and students passed the torch around the room.
Each person put a wish for world harmony into the torch.
Thirty miles down the road we stopped in at Cottondale Elementary to share the torch.
The teachers held the torch together then ran a lap around the students - much to their delight.
More wishes for world harmony.
Explaining our running route.
Finally we hit the beach at beautiful Fort Walton.
Our host Ellen Bragg, owner the Best Western Hotel in Fort Walton who so kindly provided us with tremendous accommodations. She is the reason we keep coming back to Fort Walton!
