USA 30 June: Sandpoint, ID - Perma, MT

A moment of silence before starting the day's run. Kim and Tom (local supportors) hold the torch with runners, Erik and David. Sandpoint, ID.

A warm gathering in Hope, ID.

Tala Fehsel, Ashley Ebel and Max Fraiser entertain the runners with charming music.

Marsha Gilbert first saw the run many years ago in Canada and by chance got a call about our run here in Idaho. Thanks for organizing this meeting with the community members, for breakfast, and for the delicious homemade apple pie. We hope (no pun intended) to see you next time around.

Children at the summer school in Thompson Falls, MT listen to Yuyudhan before their chance to hold the torch. We found them remarkably knowledgeable of countries around the world.

We spent a refreshing night at the Cascade Camp, a beautiful location by the Clark Fork River at the Lolo National Forest. Dave and Blazej preparing veggie corn dogs and burgers.

The Czech troupe (Blanka, Abhejali and Kaberi) learning the art of s'more making.
