USA 10 July: Rhame, ND - Redig, ND

During the night we heard some occasional fluttering in the tree above the tent. The next morning , while the mother dove was away, we discovered the reason for all the commotion.

Running into Bowman, ND.

Dr. Anderson D.D.S. was kind enough to treat Yuyudhan to a free emergency tooth capping. The people in the office were so delighted to see the runner come in because they saw him running through a neighboring town (Marmath).

A meeting at the rotary club in Bowman, ND. These were extremely kind community members who treated the runners to lunch.

Dan and his wonderful family. Dan is an excellent example of a community leader, he's retired from the military service and he has served in Iraq.

Receiving a Rotary Club banner.

Radically burnt landscape makes for interesting foot terrain.
