USA 18 July: Mankato, MN - Minneapolis, MN

Another day in the great state of Minnesota, we love running here especially because we have two native Minnesotans on the team, Erik and Yuyudhan.

We visited the YMCA in St. Peter, MN.

Children pass the torch.

A warm-up run in Minneapolis near Lake Calhoun.

Running into the YMCA in Edina, MN.

David takes the stage and gives the kids an exercise to feel harmony in their hearts.

Erik speaks about creating harmony in our personal lives by doing, saying, and thinking positive things.

Yuyudhan talks to the kids, it's a captive audience.

A sweet smile.

A local supporter and a man with a heart as wide as an oceanliner, Dr. Meghabhuti Roth. He is very supportive of our efforts and is looking forward to spending a few days with the team as well as giving a kickstart to his running.

"Aloha oi, until we meet again." Banshidhar leads the Hula, a joyful Hawaiin dance that kids enjoy learning.

Peace, buddy.

Run, run, run.

Uddyogini passes out cards, but declines to sign autographs...Just kidding.

Margaret Winkelman holds the torch, she is the Program Director for the school age children. Margaret is preparing to do a 60 mile walk in the three day Race For The Cure to raise funds for researching breast cancer. Good Luck!

Harmony!

Later on...Erik takes a stroll in a Minneapolis neighborhood with his nephew, Kody. Kody is twelve years old and this is his second time seeing the run in Minnesota.

Erik with his sister Ginny and her family, Chuck, Kody, and Charlotte Rose.

Charlotte just turned 1 year old on July 17. Happy Birthday cutie!

Yuyudhan with his nephew, C.J. C.J. will be joining the team for a couple of days and we are really lucky to have him.

The group is treated to dinner by Meghabhuti, Sharanya, and Pritika, friends in Minneapolis. The gourmet pizza was from Pizza Luce in Minneapolis. My favorite was called "The Rustler." It had barbecue sauce, veggie chicken, banana peppers, pineapple, and of course cheese.

Thanks Sheraton for giving us a room for the girls.
