USA 19 July: Minneapolis, MN - Hastings, MN

We start our run at the Lake Harriet Bandshell in MPls joined by (L to R) Dave (FL), Pritika (Mpls), Julie (Mpls), CJ (WI), and Karen, Betsy, and Colleen and Collen's dog from White Bear Lake.

A nice morning torch run.

Sharing in the spirit.

It's always so nice to have runners join us. The joy factor increases 10 fold!

Thanks, Hastings, for so warmly welcoming us in your Race and River Days festivities!! Shyamala did excellent taking second place for the women.

Deepra cruises in taking second place as well for the men.

Abhejali finishes strong.

Meghabhuti commends the runners.

Hopes for Harmony.

All smiles here.

"How is it that wherever the torch is, there are smiles all around?"

Pat and Russ Hanson —local coordinators of Hastings—did a super job with everything from the rained-out parade to the cookies.

Goodbye to Deepra. We will certainly miss him and his super positive attitude that he carries with him everywhere he goes and with everything that he does.

Our great friend Meghabhuti offered a helping hand with dinner and even put in some miles for us!

In the evening we arrived at the Rosewood Inn, a favorite stop for us.

Relaxing on the porch.

Pam, the owner of the Rosewood Inn.

Our outstanding hosts—Pam and Dick—at the The Rosewood Inn took us in yet another time.

Stephany, the director of the Welsh Village Ski Hill, welcomed the team to the chalet.
