USA 3 August: Leeper, PA - Ellicottville, NY

Boijayanti carries the torch with endless enthusiasm leaving Leeper, PA on our way to one of our favorite visits - Ellicottville, NY.

But first a roadside snack!

The miles were beautiful along the way.

Some of us just couldn't get enough.

Jirka was inspired to run 16 miles before his departure day tomorrow!

Our great friend and long time supporter - Annie Widger - greeted us at the town Gazebo. She has been hosting us and arranging welcoming ceremonies for about 10 years now. We are really grateful for her amazing hospitality and enthusiasism.

Mayor Charlie Coolidge stopped by to greet us and offer his congratulations.

We passed the torch and celebrated our mutual cry for harmony.

The original Annie Widger, Annie's sister-in-law.

Some new friends from Bethesda just happened to be visiting Ellicottville. They go to the church right next to Oneness-Family School - our favorite Montessori school in Bethesda.

It was a very inspiring gathering!

Afterwards we were off to Annie and Mike's fabulous farm. We had a terrific homemade potluck.

Again the torch made its way all around.

Our hosts - Mike and Annie. It was very nice to deepen our friendship. Somehow our relationship jumped to a whole new level. Again we are very, very grateful and can't wait to come back.

Their little pond was like a magnet to Bansidhar - our photographer.

Unfortunately, we had to say good-bye to Jirka tonight. He will leave us tomorrow afternoon. Thanks for your cheerful offering Jirka!

– Atulya
