USA 5 August: Buffalo, NY - Egypt, NY

Jeromy was feeling great today running through the beautiful state of New York. So often we only think of the city and forget that there is a beautifully natured state all around it.

It was a whole new view of New York for Balavan.

Balavan had a spontaneous ceremony as we ran through the outskirts of Buffalo. These fine folks were very inspired by the torch and its message.

That afternoon Boijayanti carried the torch into the Boys and Girls Club in Rochester.

Each runner took their turn to share their experience with the children.

Ankurika has been really enjoying her new experience of America.

Mayor Robert Duffy welcomed the runners to Rochester and shared an inspiring message with the children.

The counselors really enjoyed our program.

The children made their own torches to join us.

Many made beautiful peace-doves.

Everyone got the chance to make a wish for world harmony.

Joe, co-owner of Hogan's Hideaway, once again offered a great discount on his excellent food.
