USA 7 August: Manlius, NY - Esperance, NY

We've really been enjoying the cool overcast weather of New York state. The nature has been just beautiful.

Some things a little less so.

We had a nice little side trip down to Cooperstown, NY where the renowned Baseball Hall of Fame resides.

There were tons of players and enthusiasts throughout the city.

In fact, at least 50 people held the torch and many more were asking questions before we even reached the Hall.

Family after family wanted to have their picture taken with the torch.

Everyone seemed interested.

We couldn't bring the torch inside, so we just milled around town sharing the message of the run with anyone who inquired. Even in a down-pour people were still coming up and asking to hold it.

It is really a beautiful thing to help spread so many smiles around the country.

Off to our campground for the evening. Pray it doesn't rain!(It did. :-( )
