USA 4 May: Tijuana Mexico

This morning Banshidhar, Devashishu and myself ventured into Tijuana, Mexico. Our coordinator, Olivia, had arranged many wonderful events but unfortunately all these were cancelled due to the current swine flu situation. Regardless, a number of the Tijuana media outlets were still eager to meet with us and share the spirit of the Run.

First we dropped by Sentisas TV to appear on their morning show. Our host, Alexander was very gracious and encouraging.

Next we visited with Dante from Frontera Newsapaper, Tijuana largest daily news publication.

Dante was very inspired by the run and shared with us his own recent achievements. Dante had come second on Tijuana's version of the TV show "The Biggest Loser" in Tijuana it is called "Total Fatness!" - a show where each contestant vies to lose the most weight in 11 weeks. Dante lost a massive 60lbs. Well done.

Our last stop was to meet Rosio, host of the afternoon radio show on XEBG radio station. Rosio was extremely enthusiastic and welcomed us back anytime.

Special thanks to Olivia for hosting us during our thoroughly enjoyable visit to Mexico.
