USA 26 May: Santa Fe, NM - Pagosa Springs, CO

We woke up refreshed and ready to run thanks to a blissful night at The Lodge at Santa Fe for hosting the whole team. Welcome to Boijayanti who joined the team late last night!

We started the day in the historic Plaza in downtown Santa Fe for the Santa Fe Run Around event which is a 5K/10K Run/Walk.

After a short introduction to the World Harmony Run and passed the torch to interested participants.

The simplistic and beautiful Adobe architechture is prevalent in this area.

We are so grateful to Roland and the staff at Joe's Diner in Santa Fe who donated a delicious burrito lunch for the team. We spent some time chatting to Roland who is a dedicated advocate for sustainable food production, an essential cause for health and the economy.

New Mexico’s landscape encompasses high deserts, vivid spacious skies and vistas, wild and scenic rivers and stunning cave formations. Running through this enchanting natural beauty is an unfogettable experience.

We visited the historic Echo Amphitheatre which is a natural rock formation known for its peculiar audiotory reverberations.

The landscape changed dramatically, becoming verdant and lush as we headed towards...

Welcome to Harita, from New Zealand, who also joined the team last night.

A friendly local spontaneously joined Katya on the road.

What better way to finish the day than at The Springs Resort at Pagosa Springs?! The pools have a high level of minerals in the natural spring healing waters. Perfect for wary running legs! Ahhhh...

The Springs Resort very kindly allowed the World Harmony Run team to soak in these luxurious pools free of charge.

Many thanks to Farrágó Market Cafe, in Pagosa Springs, who were amazingly generous in feeding the entire hungry team with gourmet pizza and salad.
