USA 18 June: Coos Bay, OR - Florence, OR

Morning comes early when you work out with Mahasamrat Bill Pearl. He graciously changed his regular 3am workout time to 5am so the runners could catch up on some much needed sleep.

Some local residents greeted us on the way to the gym.

Mahasamrat Bill Pearl shows us how its done.

Tom gives his all as Mahasamrat Bill Pearl lends his encouragement.

Mahasamrat draws the best effort out of everyone. Priyala pushes through to the end with enthusiasm.

Katya enjoys the early morning workouut.

Atulya and Mahasamrat Bill Pearl enjoy a quiet moment of each others' company once the weights have been put away.

On the way to breakfast, Mahasamrat Bill and Bhavatarini Judy showed us the workshop...

which included a remarkable collection of antique bicycles, trophies and collectible toys.

Mahasamrat Bills' days of riding this bike included a breaking method of grabbing a fence or landing on whatever was on the ground.

Mahasamrat Bill Pearls highly acclaimed manual on weight training 'Getting Stronger'.

His recent 3 volume set the 'Legends of the Iron Game' detail the history of weightlifting, beginning in the Roman era.

Mahasamrat and Bhavatarini treated us to breakfast at their favorite 50's diner.

The girls' teams met for a cup of tea to go at 'Heaven on Earth'. General Manager Marie kindly provided us with many excellent pastries including 'Heaven's' famous cinnamon rolls. It was an unexpected gift which was thoroughly enjoyed by the entire team.

The runners are greeted by the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest Oregon

Pujari and Tom received a 'thumbs up' from the kids for their skit about Harmony.

The kids join in during the World Harmony Run song.

A quiet moment.

All the kids took a moment to hold the torch and silently give their thoughts and hopes for world harmony.

A young harmony enthusiast holds the torch before our run with the kids.

The Boys & Girls Club coordinator, Greg Pedersen, accepts our certificate of participation.

We were enthusiastically greeted by the Windy Bay Bakery in Winchester Bay, OR.
