USA 23 June: Seattle

Our day in Seattle began with a visit to the Sakya Monastry.

The Lamas welcomed us and made sure we felt very much at home.

Salil presents a medallion to the Monastry.

We had some time in meditation.

Adrienne Chan who serves as President of the Monastry spins the prayer wheels.

Venerable Tulku Yeshi offers a prayer for peace.

Circumambulating the monastry.

We were each presented with a beautiful prayer scarf.

Uhaina at the prayer wheels.

Everyone loved the sense of peace the Monastry imbued.

Niyojita came all the way from Mongolia.

Daulot was delighted to be reunited with the team - he ran with us from Oklahoma City to San Diego.

Moni joins with the Monastry representatives.

The whole group.

Jana preparing herself for her departure - it has been wonderful having you as a member of the team.

Later in the afternoon we gathered for a lap around Greenlake.

Shobhavati also gets in her last run with the torch.

Rupasi decides to stay with us for another month!!! Yippee!!!

Jana's last miles with the team.

Pranlobha and Niyojita - last time they ran together was on the other side of the world in Mongolia.

Agraha and Jagadhata share the torch.

The team and a passerby at the Sri Chinmoy Peace Grove at Greenlake.

Harita dining alone.

Stota welcomes the team to Transformation Surprise - Seattle's best laundromat!

The purple shoe club.
