USA 9 July: Rhame, ND - Redig, ND

Many thanks to the Trail Motel for our nights accomodation in Bowman!

Tina, who ran with us in Colstrip, actually grew up in Bowman, and her father, Duane Lutz, drove out to meet us on the road and gave us an extremely generous supply of his specialty homemade chocolate fudge, yum!!!

Duane also gave us a big bag of fresh fruit and water for the road...

And then met us further down the road with his wife, Sharon, and invited us over to their house for morning tea, where we also met Sharons sister, Joan, who lives just down the road.

Next Rupasi ran into the town of Bowman where a bunch of local residents were ready to welcome us into town!

Salil accidentally called his camera a kangaroo when we were playing the country guessing game, that was a big give away, especially since one girl had even been to Australia!

Most ot the kids were Daisys, Brownies, and Boy Scouts..

This local boy scout has excellent geography skills!

Sharon and Duane came to the ceremony and got to meet the boys too.

S

Sharon and Joan hold the torch...

Thanks alot to Lynne James who is the Mayor of Bowman, and also the owner of Lasting Visions Cafe, where we went for refreshments afterwards.

We made alot of new friends in Bowman!

Some of our team members were brownies and boy scouts when we were kids!

Wally from Buffalo is an old friend and supporter of the World Harmony Run. He came out to meet the team at Central Park, whch he was instrumental in setting up. which has a great history of the local area, including "old three toes", a notoriously cunning wolf that decimated the local livestock population some years back.

A dream come true for Rupasi, standing on top of a big old hay bale!

Entering South Dakota, beautiful, but hot!

Oops, where is he going?

When we got to Spearfish The Imperial China Buffet kindly gave us a Chinese feast!

They had only been open for 8 days and the food and service were superlative, thank you so much, and we wish you well for the future!

Natabara really enjoyed his meal!!
