USA 28 July: Monroe, MI - Lemoyne, OH

Many thanks to the following hotels for providing accommodation for the team:

Baymont Inn & Suites Monroe

Comfort Inn Monroe

America's Best Value Inn Monroe.

Today we took part in the Heritage Day Parade in Southgate, Michigan.

We had another chance to see the Mayor and present him with a small gift.

We ran with a special group of people into Toledo. The Credible Messengers are trying to tackle the increasing violence in Toledo with positive marketing campaigns and public lectures. Special thanks to Jojuan Armour for his enthusiastic support of the Harmony Run.

We were one day early for the anniversary of the dedication of Toledo as a Peace City!

One of our runners encountered a train stopped indefinitely across the road.

We enjoyed a beautiful and peaceful evening at the home of Medhyata and Steve Kramer in Perrysbury, Ohio.
