Bill Cade, President of the University of Lethbridge, welcomed the World Harmony Run at the Lakeview Elementary School. Upon receiving the torch, he wished the team “all the best in bringing harmony to this troubled world” and congratulated the school on their outstanding running club.

Alors qu'il recevait le flambeau, M.Cade a offert élogieusement son support à la CHM. Il a rendu hommage à tous nos efforts et détermination à propager l'harmonie en ce monde troublé. Il a également félicité l'École Lakeview pour leur extraordinaire club de course.

At Lakeview Elementary we were also greeted by the marathon club which consists of 142 young runners who, throughout the year, complete the entire distance of a marathon. We were honored to run with them and lead them in a lively rendition of the WHR song. Afterwards they eagerly asked questions and jumped at the opportunity to hold our banners and torches.

The WHR would also like to extend our gratitude to Bob Cooney who helped us so much in the Lethbridge region.

À l'École Élémentaire Lakeview, nous avons aussi été accueillis par un club de marathon incluant 142 jeunes coureurs qui, au fil du temps, parviennent à compléter la distance totale d'un marathon. Nous étions honorés de courir avec eux et de les accompagner dans une interprétation de notre chanson-thème de la CHM. Par la suite, ils se sont empressés de nous poser multiples questions et ont grandement apprécié tenir nos bannières et notre flambeau.

La CHM aimerait tout spécialement offrir sa gratitude à M.Bob Cooney qui offert une aide constante à la concrétisation des différentes cérémonies dans la région de Lethbridge.

In Medicine Hat we ran to meet the upbeat students of Alexandra Jr. High School. We had an intimate ceremony in an outdoor amphitheatre A lot of fun was had during a symbolic run in which the torch was passed between four groups of students representing the north, east, south and western regions of the world. We were really impressed with their insights and questions. After we left our hosts, we relayed the torch through the city experiencing the vast rich terrain of the area.

À Medecine Hat, nous avons rencontré les étudiants rempli d'optimisme de l'École Secondaire Alexandra Jr.. Nous avons eu une cérémonie très intime dans un auditorium extérieur. Nous nous sommes bien amusés en relayant le flambeau à quatre différents groupes d'étudiants représentant les Régions du Nord, de l'Est, du Sud et de l'Ouest dans le Monde. Nous avons vraiment été impressionnés par la sagacité et la perspicacité de leurs questions. Après avoir quitté nos hôtes, nous avons relayé le flambeau dans les rues de la ville, découvrant et appréciant la richesse et la beauté de ce coin de pays.
