In Kravare we began the morning at the historic city hall.

V Kravařích jsme započli den před městským úřadem.

K snídani nám nabídli domácí koláče. V Praze takové nedělají! 

We signed the official guestbook. Seeing our route pasted in the pages was exciting for the international team.

Bylo velmi hezké vidět v oficiální knize návštěv naši trasu. 

Czech television news crew interviews our team captain.

Pochodeň se objevila i v místní televizi. 

Mayor Hahn was happy to wear his new World Harmony Run T shirt. The city also had gifts of T shirts for the team.

Starosta Hahn si s radostí oblékl triko Světového běhu harmonie. Naopak my jsme se oblékli do barev města. 

We ran to the nearby school. Mayor Hahn was full of heart.

Spolu jsme doběhli do nedaleké školy. Pan starosta byl srdce samo. 

The School Director welcomed us. He held the torch and offered us kind words.

Ředitel školy nás s pochodní v ruce mile přivítal. 

Running around the track together, the children were so proud to hold the torch.

Děti byly s pochodní tak nadšené, když běhaly po hřišti dokola. 

"You have run how FAR?"

"To jste uběhli už TAK DALEKO?" 

Mayor Andreas Hahn really became part of our team. He felt inspired to continue running with us..

Starosta Hahn se zakrátko stal opravdu členem našeho týmu a pokračoval s námi dále.. 

World famous Czech photographer Jiri Turek. Meeting him was such a thrill.

Světové známý český fotograf Jiří Turek. Obzvláště náš fotograf byl z tohoto setkání velmi nadšený!

Haj ve Slezsku offered some of the most charming houses and gardens.

V Háji ve Slezsku nás překvapily okouzlující domky a vilky. 

Mayor Palovsky welcomed the International team.

Starosta Karel Palovský přivítal mezinárodní tým.

Jennifer from America, holds up the torch offering her impression of The Statue of Liberty.

Jennifer z USA předvádí Sochu Svobody a snaží se napovědět dětem, odkud je. 

The weather was quite chilly but these adorable faces melted our hearts.

Počasí bylo docela chladné, ale dětské úsměvy nás zahřály na srdci. 

Even our coordinator was touched by the sincere children :)

Dokonce i náš koordinátor ze Zlína byl dojat :) 

Running with the torch is such a reward.

Běžet s pochodní je vždy odměnou. 

The traditional Czech cakes with sweet fruits inside was a reward as well!

Další odměnou jsou ale i české koláčky plněné ovocem! 

The Certificate of Appreciation for the Haj ve Slezsku school was accepted by these sweet girls.

Děkovný list pro školu v Háji ve Slezsku převzaly tyhlé milé holky. 

We were so lucky to see these magnificiant storks atop their huge nest.

Vždy nás potěšilo vidět na komínech hnízdící čápy. 

Arriving at the school in Hlucin, we were greeted by the football players.

Ve Hlučíně na nás už čekali místní fotbalisté. 

We were so appreciative of the banners and signs made by the students. It was such a personal welcome. Fantastic handmade Czech flags as well.

Přivítali nás tak mile, s vlastními transparenty i vlajkami.

The cheerleaders were excellent.

Roztleskávačky všechny roztleskaly. 

The Mayor Mr. Kubus was not behind!

Starosta Hlučína Pavol Kubuš rozhodně nezůstal pozadu!

We offered the school the Certificate of Appreciation.

Škole jsme věnovali Děkovný list za skvělé uspořádání akce. 

The local media was also in attendance.

Místní média byla opět přítomna.

We had such a happy time in Hlucin, thank you for everything!

V Hlučíně jsme měli opravdu veselé setkání, děkujeme! 

This is Libor Uher, the well known Czech mountain climber. He ran all through Ostrava with the team. We were pleased to honor him with a Torch Bearer award.

Libor Uher, známý český horolezec se k nám v Ostravě také přidal. Moc rádi jsme mu předali ocenění Posel harmonie, které udělujeme lidem, kteří dokáží svými skutky inspirovat ostatní. 

He is a true pioneer for mountain climbing. Reaching the K2 summit.

Je opravdovým průkopníkem lezení v Čechách, v roce 2007 vystoupil na horu K2 jako druhý Čech v historii. 

 

Together we have reached Ostrava city hall.

Společně jsme doběhli k Ostravské radnici. 

One of the city representatives ran with us to the the grand city hall tower.

Jeden z městských zastupitelů nám nabídl vyhlídku z věže městské radnice. 

The views were amazing!

Výhled to byl opravdu působivý. 

Ostrava is the third largest city in the Czech Republic.

Ostrava je třetí největší město v České republice. 

Guest runners lead the way. This father and son had such strong spirit.

Přidali se k nám další běžci. Tento otec se synem měli opravdu silného ducha. 

Icelandics are well known for their superior balancing skills. Impressive!

Na Islandu jsou známí velkolepým uměním balancovat pochodeň na ukazováku! 

The run into Cesky Tesin..

Směrem do Českého Těšína.. 

We were greeted by the Mayor Slovacek and Vice Mayor Folwarczny.

Zde nás přivítal starosta Vít Slováček a místostarosta Stanislav Folwarczny. 

We had refreshments of bananas, nectarines, apples, and yummy strawberries.

Při běhání máme moc rádi všechny druhy ovoce. Banány, nektarinky, jablka i jahody! Tatrankou ale také nepohrdneme.
