Today we did what many runners like a lot: a sightseeing run! A beautiful 20 km run took us through the centre of Paris, and again the sun came out. We visited...

...Notre Dame...

...the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower...

...the Arc de Triomphe...

...We had a gorgeous meal at the restaurant of friends of ours at les Halles: la Victoire Suprême du Cœur ...

...and at the City Hall of the first district of Paris, we had a nice meeting with the Mayor...

...there was some time for recreation along the way...

...and then we found a peace monument facing the Eiffel Tower with "peace" written in all languages…

Later in the afternoon we ran 80 km from Compiegne to Laon, linking the Paris Run with the European Route.
