An unexpected and friendly meeting with the "Black Mountain" runners of Gourin...

Our 5th day in France, and we felt the first raindrops. After a nice stay in a youth hostel, our French coordinators had to face a major problem: they lost their car key! We had to leave them behind with all the equipment, so we could start our run. Fortunately they took it in good humour. So far in France we have put a lot of effort into the running. Most of our team members use the long distances to improve their running capacities. 150 km per day for 8 people is no joke. At noon the sun came out, and we enjoyed the great coastal sights of Bretagne. As we arrived in Lorient, we visited one of the traditional facilities in Bretagne: a Creperie! It is run by friends of ours, so we enjoyed all kinds of sweet and savoury crepes. Long live France!

Distance: 159km
