Poland 31 May: Bialogard - Ustka

What a beautiful day! I think everybody in the team is having a great time. Two Polish girls, Magda and Shayvia joined us and many, many local runners came to run into their home town, and further. One of the Deputy Mayors ran with us to the Baltic sea and tonight's accommodation was the biggest surprise of the day - a completely remote place with little lakes all around, most delicious food and extremely kind hosts, and we got to do horse riding and archery while watching the sunset. What more could you wish for?! Check it out...

The Deputy Mayor from the city of Koszalin and a team of very strong local runners.

Just take a deep breath and imagine you were here with us...

These girls from Darlowo very bravely ran with us for half an hour.

(No comment needed...)

In Darlowo, the Deputy Mayor received us with his encouraging words.

These bikers will soon transform into runners. Watch out!

Here we go!

Patiently waiting for its owner...

Shayvia can hardly wait for her turn to run.

100% cute!

No frog and no baby, or maybe frog eaten and baby delivered?

Thank you to all the runners from Utska, for joining us.

The Deputy Mayor from the beautiful city of Ustka showed us the way to the beach - at quite some speed. A real sportsman!

And here we are!

From Ustka, we did a side-trip to Wejherowo, to join in the city anniversary celebrations.

The Head of Culture and Sports here in Wejherowo, Mr Michal Jelinski welcomed us in the name of the Mayor, as a part of their ongoing city festival.

Young...

Younger...

Youngest!

Polish runners.

The TV reporters want to know everything.

Bye bye from the road for today!

And now for something completely different...

Tonight's accommodation - a delight to every one of us.

Horse 'Shiva' with Ksenia on top.
