The start was early this morning, at the "Sri Chinmoy Peace Bridge" connecting Liechtenstein and Switzerland.

Der Start erfolge früh am Morgen bei der "Sri Chinmoy Friedensbrücke", welche Liechtenstein mit Schweiz verbindet.

In Buchs SG we met a group of children from the local Judo club, and we ran with them to their Dojo (club house).

In Buchs SG trafen wir auf eine Gruppe Kinder des dortigen Judoclubs. Zusammen liefen wir zu ihrem Dojo (Vereinslokal).

There, the kids showed us some of their moves...

The Run continued through the wonderful Rheintal region, towards Altstätten.

Weiter gings durch wunderschöne Rheintal in Richtung Altstätten.

Peter Gschwend then joined the World Harmony Run. It was a special honour for us to have the double-winner of the Swiss Alpine Marathon with us, and to share the torch with him.

Kurz vor dem Mittag stiess Peter Gschwend auf den World Harmony Run. Es war uns eine besondere Ehre mit dem Doppel-Swiss-Alpine-Marathon-Gewinner die Fackel zu teilen und den Tag zu verbringen.

The Mayor of Rüthi personally welcomed us and afterwards he ran with us into the village...

Der Gemeindepräsident von Rüthi empfing uns persönlich und lief anschliessend gemeinsam mit uns ins Dorf hinein ...

...In front of the municipal offices, we were welcomed by the whole community. Thank you very much for this wonderful work. Special thanks to Mayor Thomas Ammann.

... Beim Rathaus wurden wir schliesslich von der ganzen Gemeinde empfangen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Einsatz der Gemeindeverwaltung Rüthi, allen voran Gemeindepräsident Thomas Ammann.

Heiden ist nicht mehr weit. Doch vorher geht es steil nach oben...

.. As we reached the summit, the whole crew from STV Oberegg was awaiting us.

.. Oben angekommen empfing uns bereits die ganze Mannschaft des STV Oberegg.

.. Entering Heiden, more local children joined the run and became torch-carriers...

.. Eingangs Heiden kamen dortige Kinder hinzu und wurden zu Fackelträgern...

In the end the whole crew ran to the Herny Dunant monument. Three Alp horns and many spectators welcomed us with a standing ovation.

Schliesslich liefen alle ins Zentrum zum Henry-Dunant-Denkmal, wo uns drei Alphörner und eine versammelte Menge begeisterter Zuschauer empfing.
