We started our run today from Korsun' city and ran over the bridge through the storage pool of one of the oldest Ukrainian hydro electrostations.

Ми стартували сьогодні в Корсуні і пробігли через міст над водосховищем однієї з найстаріших гідроелектростанцій України.

At the border of Lysianskyy district we were met with traditional bread and salt.

На межі Лисянського району місцеві жителі зустріли учасників естафети хлібом-сіллю.

Then in the district centre a delicious dinner was waiting for us. Klaus from Berlin expressed his impression: “Since I am in Ukraine I am enjoying the Ukrainian food. It is a good mixture of delicious soups, salads and buckwheat. Another good experience, not only in Ukraine, but in Russia and Belarus too, are the saunas. We could enjoy them quite often.”

У Лисянці членів команди нагодували дуже смачним обідом, який надихнув 66-річного бігуна з Німеччини Клауса висловити своє ставлення до українських страв: «Відколи я в Україні, я насолоджуюся її кухнею. Це чудова суміш смачних супів, салатів і каш».

Near one of the villages we met teachers at a picnic after finishing the school year. They joined us with enthusiasm and ran a little way with the torch.

Дорогою бігуни зустріли вчителів однієї із шкіл району, які їхали відсвяткувати на природі закінчення навчального року. Освітяни охоче підтримали естафету, пробігли зі смолоскипом і сфотографувалися з бігунами.

In Zhashkiv district our team were met by local officials and mass media – they accompanied the harmony run for some time.
У Жашківському районі Всесвітній біг заради гармонії зустріли представники місцевої влади і телебачення. Вони також долучилися до естафети.

Our Harmony road took us further through picturesque fields and villages of Cherkassy region.

Далі шлях естафети проліг мальовничими селами і степами Черкащини.
