A real "Sun"-day in Vienna! We enjoyed a free morning in the city and visited a few scenic sites...

Ein echter "Sonn"-Tag in Wien! Wir genossen einen freien Vormittag in der Stadt und besuchten einige Sehenswürdigkeiten...

In the afternoon we went to the famous Zoo in Vienna, Schönbrunn. The Zoo is the oldest in the world (1752) but definitely up to date for treating and keeping animals.

Am Nachmittag stand der berühmte Zoo Schönbrunn auf dem Programm. Zoo Schönbrunn ist der älteste Zoo der Welt (1752), setzt aber auch ständig neue Standards für die artgerechte Tierhaltung!

Mrs. Mag. Regina Pfistermüller, representing the Zoo administration and a passionate runner herself, received the torch on behalf of the staff of the Zoo.

Frau Mag. Regina Pfistermüller, selbst begeisterte Läuferin, vertrat den Zoo Schönbrunn und empfing die Friedensfackel!

After the presentation of the WHR we enjoyed a fantastic run through the Zoo!

Nach der Präsentation des WHR genossen wir einen wunderbaren Lauf durch den Zoo...

As we reached the pavilion in the Zoo, fresh drinks were served...

Angekommen am Pavillion wurden willkommene Erfrischungen gereicht...
