...after a good night's rest we continued our Run under a blue sky. Soon we reached Zwentendorf, the world's safest Atomic Power Plant. It's safe because it never started to produce atomic energy. After it was built, the Austrian people decided by vote not to use it. So it serves as a museum (and as a monument to common sense...).

...nach einer erholsamen Nacht setzten wir unseren Lauf unter blauem Himmel fort. Bald erreichten wir Zwentendorf, das sicherste Atomkraftwerk der Welt, da es nie ans Netz ging. Nachdem es fertiggestellt wurde, kam es zu einer Volksabstimmung. Die Österreicher haben sich gegen die Atomkraft entschieden, daher dient Zwentendorf jetzt als Museum (und als Symbol der Vernunft...)

After a short detour through the swamps of Zwentendorf we reached Traismauer. The mayor and kids welcomed us in the school yard.

Nach einem kurzen unfreiwilligen Ausflug in die Sümpfe von Zwentendorf erreichten wir Traismauer. Der Bürgermeister und die Schulkinder empfingen uns begeistert am Schulhof.
