Canada 29 April : Nelson

Nelson has stolen our hearts! In the short time that we have been here we have fallen in love with this place.

Firstly, we would like to say how extremely grateful we are to the staff and management at Nelson's beautiful Prestige Lakeside Resort for the generous complimentary hotel rooms and services offered to our team.  The resort-hotel is idyllically set along the water front in the centre of town - we loved our spacious and modern rooms; we also loved the jacuzzi and swimming pool to our heart's content. The staff and the manager were always helpful and beyond friendly!

This morning we went for a hike up Elephant Mountain or, as the locals call it, Mount Ganesha.

The view of the city is great from up there!

We were lucky enough to be joined by Prapti's sister Naami who was familiar with all the trails.

She is also a good meditator!

We ran into some nice people who held the World Harmony Run torch.

Sarvagata and Daniel did some jogging...

...until it became too difficult.

They eventually made it to the top...

...and were rewarded with an inuksuk and the best view!

Then Yatkara went straight to his laptop to upload all the pictures of the day.

Meanwhile, the rest of us checked out the cute shops and cafes in town while breathing the fresh mountain air. Ahhh...
