Today is a special day  - May 9th, the International Day of Peace, and it was our honour to share our own peace and harmony aspirations with Hungarian peace-lovers.

Május 9. különleges nap, a Béke Világnapja! Megtisztelve éreztük magunkat, hogy harmónia iránti törekvésünket megoszthattuk Magyarország békeszerető lakóival.

Although the Harmony Run never ends, the the last day of the Hungarian part is about to finish and even on the last day we had a busy schedule, starting with running into a Landorhegyi Elementary Sport school in Zalaegerszeg. Many runners of  different ages joined us on our way.

Bár a Harmónia Futás soha nem ér véget, sajnos magyarországi szakaszunk utolsó napjához értünk. Mozgalmas napunkat Zalaegerszegen kezdtük, a Landorhegyi Általános és Sportiskolában. Rengeteg gyerek csatlakozott hozzánk az iskola felé vezető úton.

Arrival at the local sport school, where hundreds of children were waiting for us on SATURDAY!

Megérkezvén az iskolába több száz gyerek várt bennünket, pedig SZOMBAT volt!

All the chlidren participated in collecting these bottle caps, which later formed a beautiful peace dove. The art teacher said: "We will put a subtitle under the mozaic: World Harmony"

Minden gyerek részt vett a kupakgyűjtésben, amiből később ez a gyönyörű békegalambot ábrázoló kép készült.A rajztanárnő elmondta: "A mozaik a Világharmónia címet kapta, mivel erre készült."

A brass band played the best and most dynamic version of the World Harmony song.

A fúvószenekar a Világharmónia Futás dalát a legklasszabb és legdinamikusabb feldolgozásban adta elő.

Music is a universal language.

Brave kids asking very difficult questions of the runners.

For example: "Were you running on the South Pole? And was it slippery?"

Answer: "Yes, there was Harmony Run on the South Pole! They had special shoes and they were sleeping in warm tents."

A legbátrabb gyerekek fogós kérdéseket tettek föl a futóknak.

Például: " Volt Világharmónia Futás az Antarktiszon is? Nem csúsztak el?"

Válasz: "Igen! Volt futás az Antarktiszon! Különleges cipőt viseltek és meleg sátorban aludtak."

This time our very own cyclist escort, István came with us. smiling the whole way from Zalaegerszeg.

Igen! Mindig készek vagyunk!

Ezúttal István, saját kerékpárosunk kísért minket Zalaegerszegtől, kifogyhatatlan mosollyal.

In Zalaszentgyörgy on the bike route, the kindergarteners and the local sport organizer (standing on the left) received the torch-bearers.

Zalaszentgyörgyön óvodás gyerekek csoportja, és a helyi sportklub vezetője (balról) fogadta a fáklyavivőket.

The children were adorable.

On the way to our next destination, Zalacséb, we were accompanied by joyful kids.

Zalacséb felé vezető utunkon vidám gyereksereg kísért.

In Zalalövő the vice-mayor, László Vertetics carried the torch in front.

Zalalövőn az alpolgármester, Vertetics László szaladt a csapat élén.

We were thrilled by the singing of the choir.

Felemelő volt hallani a kórus csodálatos dalait.

Hurray!! A hill of pogácsa.

Our new motto: "Harmony begins with POGÁCSA".

Hurrá!! Pogácsahegyek (a nemzetközi csapat kedvence).

Ez lett az új mottónk: " A harmónia pogácsával kezdődik".

Zoltán Őr, the mayor of Őriszentpéter drew some parallels between the Őrség region and the Harmony Run in his speech. Sport is very important in the village, and at the same time the special beauty of nature brings harmony to the life of local people as well as to the visitors.

Őr Zoltán, Őriszentpéter polgármestere beszédében felhívta a figyelmet az őrségi régió és a Harmónia Futás hasonlóságára. A sport nagyon fontos a falu életében, ugyanakkor a természet érintetlen szépsége nem csupán a helybéliek hanem az idelátogatók életébe is harmóniát hoz .

During the run the silence and peace of Őrség National Park carried us.

Futás közben az Őrség csendje és békéje bennünket is magával ragadott.

Balance is harmony...

...and keep in their hearts the flame that symbolizes friendship and love.

...és szívükben őrizhessék a barátságot és szeretetet jelképező lángot.

Gyula Györke, the mayor of Bajánsenye was deeply moved receiving the Torch Bearer Award.

Although we reached the border of our country, we felt that this Run cannot stop here, since the heart is boundless and limitless...

We all treasure the harmony and happiness in our hearts, that brought us together as friends and made us a strong team. And these qualities we can use in the hustle and bustle of life.

Bár elérkeztünk országunk határához, mégis úgy éreztük, hogy ez a futás itt nem érhet véget, hiszen a szívben nincsenek határok...

A harmóniát, mely összekovácsolta és megerősítette csapatunkat mindannyian kincsként őrizzük és örömét magunkkal visszük a mindennapok forgatagába.
