After a slight delay, we visited our first school in Smolensk. Around 300 children greeted us. It was quite a noisy visit, but there was lots of energy. We continued on to the next place, where we ran with a police escort to an official meeting that had TV coverage. A small group of kids ran with us to a running track, where we met with a larger group. In the afternoon we had a little free time to try and send reports, which has been difficult because of the lack of internet connections. Our final ceremony was in the early evening,

Once again we received bread and salt. Then off to a nice dinner and our sleeping place.

После небольшого опоздания мы прибежали в Смоленскую школу №17, где нас встретило 300 детей! Было немного шумно, но зато очень энергично! Затем мы отправились в следующий город, где нас встречала милиция и телевиденье. Небольшая группа детей встретила нас, и мы все вместе побежали на встречу с другой, более большой группой детей. Потом у нас было свободное время, и мы искали интернет. Наша последняя встреча на сегодня была в городе Сафоново, где нас встретили хлебом и солью. Потом у нас был замечательный ужин, и мы отправились спать.
