Sweden 7 August: Örnsköldsvik - Solleftea

Our second day in Sweden but still no Swedish moose! What a disappointment!

We started this morning at the city square in Örnsköldsvik. After our presentation we received from the city representative one of the best possible gifts on the World Harmony Run - towels!

Some local runners guided us out of the city and we spent another day in most beautiful nature, running on lonely roads.

As usual, we had a food-break combined with swimming in the early afternoon. This time we ended up in a river in disguise - the water temperature gave it away! But after running all day in the heat, a cool swim was highly welcome.

As we reached Solleftea, a group of runners and the local organiser welcomed us at the city limits. They brought flags for all the nationalities represented in our team and we were a very colourful group as we reached the city square.

Two city representatives received us and two girls, one singing and one on the keyboard, performed really well.

After the meeting the local runners accompanied us for 12 more kilometres, so we will have less to run tomorrow.

Distance: 112km
