Sweden 10 August: Rätansbyn - Sweg

We started from Rätansbyn in the morning, and went on. As nothing was really organised for today (the road went 87 kilometres through forest...), we didn't really expect a meeting to happen.

But never say no! Again, we had the same experience as on previous days - many cars stopped and asked what it is about; the radio interview we gave yesterday was broadcast, so many people already knew about the Run.

Some technical problems...

As we got close to Sweg, a car stopped and two young guys took shots of our runners.

It turned out that they belong to the Swedish National Cross-Country Skiing team, which was at a training camp in Sweg for a couple of days.

The two athletes spontaneously ran with us and together we went to the hotel where they were staying.

As it was the last day at their training camp, the men had already left but the women's team was still there.

We introduced the Run and together we ran a few steps!

Good luck for the next season!
