After a good rest in the children’s summer camp we started our run towards Kiev. 135km just straight on: a challenge for our long distance runners!

Після доброго відпочинку в дитячому літньому таборі ми почали біг до Києва. 135км по прямій: виклик для наших бігунів на виликі дістанції.

In Korostushev part of our team met with over 100 happy children in another summer camp. At the region border of Kiev we had a hearty meeting with officials, singers, and a great bun-cake!

В Коростишеві частина нашої команди зустрілась з більш ніж 100 щасливих діточок в іншому літньому таборі. На межі Київської області нас зустріли великим короваєм, піснями і вітальним словом.

The folk songs where especially nice. The rest of the day we headed towards the capital for a great event: all three major Ukrainian World Harmony Run routes joined today in Kiev with the European route! The Ukrainian runners covered all together 5000 km and met thousands of people – a great achievement for a single country! Thanks for all this enthusiasm and effort!

Місцеві пісні були особливо чудові!  Решту дня ми поспішали до столиці на велику подію: всі три великі українські команди Всесвітнього бігу заради гармонії обїєднаються сьогодні в Києві з європейською! Українські бігуни пробігли разом 5000 км і зустрілись з тисячма мешканцями  - велике досягнення для однієї країни! Дякуємо заентузіазм і відданість!

All the runners met in the heart of the city and together we reached the final destination: an open-air theatre under a huge rainbow!

Всі бігуни зустрілись в серці місця і разом досягли фінального місця призначення: відкритого театру під велечежною веселкою!

We celebrated for almost two hours on stage with the national anthem, the World Harmony Run song, and a small concert. Afterwards we spent lots of time talking, taking group pictures, and exchanging experiences.

Ми празнували дві години на сцені з гімнами країни і Всесвітнього бігу заради гармонії, невеличким концертом. Після цього провели багато часу розмовляючи, роблячи групові знімки, обмінюючись враженнями.

An evening meal together with all the runners ended this auspicious day.

Вечеря разом всіх бігунів завершила цей особливий день.
